Hello, and welcome to my site!

I’m Heather, and I love books. I love reading, talking with authors, connecting with other readers, and hyping up what I love.

I’ve been reading since I was a kid. I can’t remember a time I *didn’t* have a book in my hand. My dad used to take me to the local public library every weekend, where I’d sit in the children’s book aisles, surrounded by books, reading and trying to decide which ones I wanted to take home. I inevitably ended up with a handful; this was following in my dad’s footsteps, who typically checked out 3-5 books every single week. He loved science fiction, primarily, and though I also enjoy sci fi, my tastes are much more varied. I also love romance, fantasy, romantasy, mystery, true crime, and sometimes mild horror.

In April 2024, I started an account on Instagram dedicated to books. It led me to an incredible group of friends to share books and life content with! We talk every single day, support one another, and share the best book recommendations.

My account also led me to discovering Advanced Reader (Review) Copies (ARCs) of books. I have been able to meet so many amazing indie authors and read some incredible books that I may not have otherwise found.

On this site, you will (eventually) find book reviews, author spotlights, Bookstagrammer collaborations, and a bunch of other things I feel like sharing!
